HELLO Trust Leadership Visits Crossroads Foundation, Explores Future Collaboration Opportunities

HELLO Trust recently visited Crossroads Foundation at Crossroads Village in Hong Kong, marking a significant step toward potential collaboration between two mission-driven organizations.


The HELLO Trust delegation was led by Founder Casso Pi and Asia-Pacific CEO Artemis Cheung, alongside regional managers from all HELLO Trust branches in China's Greater Bay Area - including Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Hengqin, and Macau.


The group was hosted by David J. Begbie, founder of Crossroads Foundation. The connection was initiated by Hanna Lu, Co-Regional Manager of HELLO Trust Beijing, who met David at a societies and nonprofits fair in Beijing.



A Tour of Crossroads Village


David personally guided the HELLO Trust leadership team through Crossroads Village, introducing the foundation's global work and on-campus volunteering opportunities. The tour included an in-depth look at Crossroads' signature "X-perience" simulations - immersive, self-designed experiences that allow participants to step into the lives of people facing poverty, displacement, and other global challenges.


The team was given a brief demonstration of the war simulation, one of Crossroads' most powerful X-perience programs. This hands-on introduction allowed HELLO Trust leaders to witness firsthand how realistic simulations can raise awareness, foster empathy, and show participants how people in difficult circumstances around the world live and survive.


Looking Ahead: Future Collaboration


Following the tour, the two teams engaged in a productive discussion about potential future collaboration. Both organizations share a commitment to raising awareness, empowering communities, and creating transformative experiences for young people.


HELLO Trust sees strong potential in partnering with Crossroads Foundation to offer its members access to X-perience simulations and volunteer programs, deepening their understanding of global issues while strengthening their leadership and empathy.
