On September 12, 2026, members of HELLO Trust Hong Kong and HELLO Trust Society at ISF came together for a full day of volunteer service at Crossroads Foundation.
Volunteers were assigned across three departments — Incoming, Household, and Small Goods — where they sorted donated items, cleaned household goods, and moved inventory between warehouses. The work was physically demanding, involving sorting, cleaning, categorising, and transporting goods throughout the day.
During the service, Crossroads staff member Babai shared the organisation's philosophy with the volunteers. He explained that a Christmas tree placed in the warehouse serves as a reminder that every item prepared will eventually reach families in need around the world, bringing them warmth and dignity. This, he noted, is the core purpose behind Crossroads' work.
At the end of the day, HELLO Trust Society at ISF and participating volunteers were awarded certificates in recognition of their service. The team noted that the experience gave them a more concrete understanding of the significance behind sorting and preparing donated goods, and expressed interest in future collaborations with Crossroads Foundation.
