HELLO Trust Appi Announces New Co-Regional Managers

As HELLO Trust Appi continues to grow, we are excited to officially announce the appointment of three new Co-Regional Managers who will lead the branch into its next chapter: Yumi Karnchanavanich, Luna Yao, and Emma Wang.

With our current leadership team preparing to graduate from high school, this transition marks an important milestone for HELLO Trust Appi as we continue building a sustainable and student-led leadership pipeline for future generations.

Welcoming New Leadership

Yumi Karnchanavanich joined HELLO Trust last year and has already demonstrated exceptional initiative and leadership potential. Prior to joining, Yumi gained experience working with a stationery charity operation, giving her valuable exposure to community service and nonprofit work. Within HELLO Trust Appi, she successfully led the organisation of the branch’s Halloween Haunted House event, showcasing strong creativity, ownership, and event management skills. Despite being relatively new to the organisation, Yumi has quickly established herself as one of the branch’s most promising young leaders.

Luna Yao is one of HELLO Trust Appi’s founding members and has been a consistent pillar of the branch since its early days. Luna is widely recognised for her reliability, organisation, and dedication. Most notably, she independently organised an entire Culture Day event, demonstrating an impressive ability to manage large-scale initiatives with confidence and precision. Beyond HELLO Trust, Luna also served as the former Shaftesbury Committee Chairperson at Harrow Appi, further reflecting her strong leadership background and commitment to charity and student engagement.

Emma Wang, one of HELLO Trust Appi’s early members, has also been appointed as Co-Regional Manager. Having been part of the branch’s growth journey from an early stage, Emma brings continuity, familiarity, and a strong understanding of HELLO Trust’s culture and mission. Her appointment reflects our confidence in her ability to contribute meaningfully to the next stage of Appi’s development.

Supporting the new Co-Regional Managers is a promising extended leadership team. Aimi Oikawa has been appointed as Treasurer, bringing both creativity and organisational experience to the role. As one of HELLO Trust Appi’s founding members, Amy has been closely involved in the branch since its early development. Beyond HELLO Trust, she has demonstrated strong leadership through her work in Harrow Appi’s Student Council and Communications Club, alongside experience in graphic design, poster-making, and organising TEDx events. Her combination of operational discipline and creative skillset will be a valuable asset to the team.

Joining the leadership team as Head of Social Media, Ricardo Borba brings a long-standing passion for service and digital storytelling. Having participated in charity initiatives such as beach clean-ups from a young age, Ricardo has already demonstrated a genuine commitment to community impact. Combined with his experience in digital media, he will play an important role in strengthening HELLO Trust Appi’s visibility, communications, and outreach efforts moving forward.

Looking Ahead

The appointment of Yumi, Luna, and Emma reflects HELLO Trust’s continued commitment to empowering students with real leadership opportunities while building long-term organisational sustainability.

As founders and leaders graduate, it is critical that new generations are prepared not only to continue operations, but to elevate them further. I am confident that under the leadership of these three Co-Regional Managers, HELLO Trust Appi will continue to strengthen its impact, grow its initiatives, and create even more meaningful opportunities for students and communities alike.
