On November 3, 2024, HELLO Trust was honoured to attend the Dinner Conference hosted by the Shenzhen Association for Families with Persons with Intellectual Disabilities. Our invitation reflected HELLO Trust’s continued commitment and determination to raise awareness, understanding, and support for individuals with autism within our local community.

We were proud to participate in the conference as an official partner of the Shenzhen Association for Families with Persons with Intellectual Disabilities, standing alongside organisations and advocates who share a common mission of building a more inclusive and supportive society. The event brought together leaders, practitioners, and changemakers from across the non-profit sector, creating a meaningful platform for dialogue and collaboration.

Throughout the evening, our team had the opportunity to connect with influential figures in the non-profit and social impact space, exchanging perspectives on autism advocacy, community engagement, and long-term support systems for individuals with intellectual disabilities and their families. These discussions reinforced the importance of cross-sector collaboration in driving sustainable change.

The conference was not only a moment of reflection, but also a step forward. By engaging with stakeholders and partner organisations, HELLO Trust deepened its understanding of the challenges faced by the autism community and strengthened its resolve to continue advocating, educating, and acting.

We are grateful to the Shenzhen Association for Families with Persons with Intellectual Disabilities for the invitation and partnership, and we look forward to working together to create greater awareness, stronger support networks, and a more inclusive future for all.
