InspireMe Festival
Celebrating Neurodiversity. Inspiring Inclusion. Creating a World Where Every Child Belongs.
What Makes InspireMe Festival Special?
-
Inclusive Experiences: Interactive, creative, and sensory-oriented activities designed to encourage participation and self-expression.
-
Youth-Led Action: Young volunteers work together to organise activities, engage with participants, and contribute to a more inclusive community.
-
Community Collaboration: Families, schools, educators, and volunteers come together to share experiences, build connections, and promote understanding.
-
A Lasting Impact: InspireMe seeks to inspire greater awareness and acceptance beyond the festival itself, encouraging participants to carry inclusive values into their everyday lives.
InspireMe Festival is HELLO Trust’s first-ever flagship annual event promoting autism awareness, acceptance, and inclusion. First established in 2024 in Shenzhen, China, the festival brings together autistic children, families, students, educators, and community members to celebrate neurodiversity and build a more understanding and inclusive society.
Through interactive activities, creative workshops, music, games, and performances, InspireMe Festival creates opportunities for children to express themselves, explore their interests, and connect with others in a welcoming environment. The festival aims to move beyond awareness alone by encouraging meaningful participation, understanding, and acceptance of individuals with autism and other special educational needs (SEN).

Growing Together, One Festival at a Time
Since its launch in Shenzhen, China, in 2024, InspireMe Festival has continued to grow. The 2025 edition welcomed more than 300 attendees, while the 2026 festival brought together over 50 families, more than 60 student volunteers, and 16 interactive booths, with participants from three schools across two cities.
Our journey is built on collaboration. In Shenzhen, we are working with the Shenzhen Association for Families of Persons with Intellectual Disabilities (守望协会) to advance autism awareness and inclusion. As we expand into Hong Kong, we are collaborating with Heep Hong Society (協康會), strengthening our connections with organisations dedicated to supporting children with special educational needs and their families.
We are now expanding InspireMe Festival into Hong Kong, with the ambition of hosting multiple festivals each year. By bringing the festival to more communities and working alongside experienced local organisations, we aim to create more opportunities for families to connect, young people to contribute, and communities to develop a deeper understanding of neurodiversity.
Each festival represents another step towards a world where differences are celebrated and every child has the opportunity to participate, connect, and thrive.
At HELLO Trust, we believe inclusion begins when we create spaces where everyone is welcomed, valued, and empowered to shine.
Youth Impact Lab
From Ideas to Impact. Empowering Young People to Build Solutions for a Better World.
Youth Impact Lab (YIL) is a youth social impact accelerator presented by HELLO Trust and BetterYouthFutures (BYF). Designed for secondary school and university students, the programme helps young people turn their passion for social issues into practical, community-driven projects.
We believe young people should have the opportunity not only to learn about the world's challenges, but also to develop the skills and confidence to address them. Through hands-on workshops, personalised mentorship, and peer collaboration, Youth Impact Lab guides participants through the process of identifying real community needs, designing solutions, and developing actionable plans to create meaningful change.

What Makes Youth Impact Lab Special?
-
Learn by Doing: Participants develop their own social impact projects through practical workshops covering problem identification, project planning, budgeting, teamwork, community engagement, and impact measurement.
-
Personalised Mentorship: Each participant receives guidance from mentors who help them challenge assumptions, refine ideas, and navigate real-world obstacles.
-
Build with a Community: Participants collaborate with like-minded young people, exchange perspectives, and learn from one another throughout the programme.
-
Turn Ideas into Action: Rather than stopping at brainstorming, participants work towards developing and testing their project ideas, with opportunities to present their work at a final Demo Day.
A Growing Global Community
Youth Impact Lab is expanding its reach to make practical social impact education accessible to young people across different regions.
Our current cohorts include:
-
San Francisco, USA — In-Person Cohort: Open to students across the San Francisco Bay Area, offering opportunities for face-to-face collaboration, practical workshops, and local community engagement.
-
Hong Kong SAR, China (Asia) — Online Cohort: Open to students across Asia, allowing participants to develop their projects, connect with mentors, and collaborate with peers regardless of geographical location.
Coming soon: London, UK. We plan to launch an additional in-person cohort in London, extending Youth Impact Lab's reach to young changemakers in the UK.
From Learning to Lasting Impact
Youth Impact Lab follows a structured, three-month journey that takes participants from understanding a social problem to designing, developing, and testing a potential solution. Along the way, they gain practical experience in leadership, problem-solving, project management, and collaboration.
The programme culminates in a Demo Day, where participants present their projects to mentors, community leaders, and other invited guests. It is an opportunity to share their progress, receive constructive feedback, and identify concrete next steps for bringing their ideas to life.
Our ambition is to build an international community of young changemakers equipped with the skills, confidence, and support to turn their ideas into meaningful action.
At HELLO Trust, we believe young people should not have to wait until tomorrow to make a difference. Youth Impact Lab gives them the tools, guidance, and community to start today.
