On November 2, 2024, we held HELLO Trust's first annual global conference, or in other words, Annual General Meeting (AGM).
The purpose of this meeting was to bring together our regional managers from across the world to meet & greet, discuss the global societal issues each branch is tackling, as well as exploring inter-branch collaboration opportunities.
Branch(es) Present: Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Shanghai, Nanning, Appi, Toronto, London
Branch(es) Absent:
Zhuhai
Our agenda was as follows:
Warm welcome to new regional managers
Key introductions to each branch's mission and vision
Progress update from each branch
Global issues research sharing
Key initiatives and events hosted by each branch
Global collaboration opportunities
Newly structured recruitment process
Announcement of global expansion (Canada and the United Kingdom)
Upcoming events and initiatives
Wrapping Up

Our Hong Kong and Shenzhen branches shared key insights on the annual InspireMe Festival, designed to inspire autistic individuals while giving them a safe space to explore different fields and industries like engineering, music, art, and drama through simple games.

Our Appi branch in Japan shared about their annual locally-held Christmas markets, fundraising techniques, and logistics behind their events. These proved to be key skills and knowledge needed for our new branches to acquire and master.
We are also delighted to announce our next two major global expansions into Toronto, Canada and London, United Kingdom. This marks our first step out of Asia, becoming a truly global initiative.
The superpower of HELLO Trust isn't any single branch's ability to fundraise and run events efficiently, it is the global network of student leaders who can share invaluable experiences, insights, and most importantly, learn from one another.
HELLO Trust is off to a fantastic global start since its inception in August 2023. I look forward to seeing what everyone can achieve together in the years to follow.
