On the 26th of October, Hello Trust hosted a cozy Autism awareness event to celebrate Halloween whilst simultaneously contributing to a worthy cause.
The morning started with an icebreaker of 大é£å¹ (the Wind Blows), where the kids members engaged with and supported got to know each other. Everyone stood in a circle, and whenever the host called out a characteristic, participants who shared that trait swapped places. It was a fun, yet effective way to lighten the mood and allude to another successful Hello Trust Event.

Then, the members resumed with the āWho Am I?ā Game. Each player received a card with a word written on it, where everyone could see the word except for the holder. After being paired with a volunteer, each participant described the word without directly naming it, trying to guess it with the accumulated hints. After much effort, the yellow team finally won, pinpointing it correctly first. Similar to charades, it was engaging and created a light, competitive environment that spurred energy within the group.
Finally, with the help of Hello Trust members, the kids got creative ā using materials like fabric, paper, and decorations to design their own stylish outfits, dressing one participant up as their model. Every team had 15-20 minutes to create their masterpiece and then enjoyed a 10-minute runway show. After the ceremony ended, the collective group voted for the best outfit, which ended up being the orange team. They were rewarded with a small prize for their effort and originality!

After the main events had closed, members were able to enjoy musical performances from the č«č¦äø (Hulusi) ensemble and a mesmerizing saxophone solo. The music was a wonderful end to the morning, and the talent of the performers shone through heavily.
